Election Update
- Thanks be to God for providing us the freedoms and right to vote for our elected government officials. Unfortunately, the general election Season for 2022 is still in work as the counties in Arizona have not fully tabulated all their ballots and provided this information to the Board of Supervisors to certify our election.
- The Attorney General’s office in fact has written a letter this past Saturday to Maricopa County requesting specific information before November 28th into the difficulties they had in running our election. I pray each of you were able to vote; however there was more than 70 of the 223 voting locations across Maricopa County that had issues with printers and tabulators to read ballots on Election Day. They are investigating the printer setting issues at these locations, the procedures for “checking out” voters so they could go vote at a different location that might have had working printers, and the commingling of the “door 3” ballots that could not be read by the tabulators at the voting sites.
- Most seats across the US are called, but there are still a number that are not – such as the Senate Seat in Georgia that is going to a runoff and 5 House Seats at the Federal level.
- The Republicans have enough seats to take control of the House, but the Senate is still in question. In Arizona, the Republicans still hold a very narrow margin (one seat) in both the House and Senate.
Prayer is More Important Now than Ever
- We ask that all please take the time to Pray for Our Nation in what may clearly be a turning point in our future.
- Pray for our elected officials as well as those trying to ensure we have free and fair elections.
- Ultimately, as Christians we must put our faith in Christ and know that he is the King, He is in Control. God is Great!
- As we all spend time with our family and friends this Thanksgiving week, please Pray for our Nation as we are in a battle for our Freedoms.
